The bowl keeps Sanka's three-cornered plan and lifts it — 6.25" across, 2.25" deep, with a clean inner well that holds a portion of soup or a grain bowl comfortably. The exterior is left raw on some variants, a sandy unglazed stoneware that contrasts the glazed rim; the interior carries the color cleanly to the lip.

Glazes run across the HUMO semi-matte range — Black reading almost inky against bare clay, Pardo and Capuchino warm, Taupe quieter. So the rim's slow triangular cutline varies piece to piece. Dishwasher, microwave, and food safe.

Care Instructions

microwave and dishwasher-safe

Although fired at 2192 °F (1200 °C) for durability, our ceramics still require proper care. Handle with care, avoid exposure to open flame or stovetops, and remember they are microwave and dishwasher-safe.

For oven use, always start from room temperature, preheat gradually, and never exceed 335 °F (170 °C). Allow pieces to cool slowly, as larger items are more sensitive to sudden temperature changes.
CUTLERY

We recommend 18/10 stainless steel cutlery. Avoid silver, gold, or copper-plated utensils, as they may leave surface marks. These marks are simply metal residue, not ceramic damage, and are not covered by returns or warranty.

They can be removed using Bar Keepers Friend or fine 1000-grit wet sandpaper.
