For a portion of soup, a grain bowl, anything that benefits from depth in a form that sits low to the table. The Sanka Bowl keeps the collection's three-cornered plan: the interior carries the color cleanly to the lip, while some variants leave the exterior raw, a sandy unglazed stoneware that contrasts with the glazed rim.

Black reads almost inky against bare clay; Warm Brown and Cappuccino run warm; Taupe sits quieter. The triangular cutline varies piece to piece. Stoneware. Dishwasher, microwave, and food safe.

Care Instructions

microwave and dishwasher-safe

Although fired at 2192 °F (1200 °C) for durability, our ceramics still require proper care. Handle with care, avoid exposure to open flame or stovetops, and remember they are microwave and dishwasher-safe.

For oven use, always start from room temperature, preheat gradually, and never exceed 335 °F (170 °C). Allow pieces to cool slowly, as larger items are more sensitive to sudden temperature changes.
CUTLERY

We recommend 18/10 stainless steel cutlery. Avoid silver, gold, or copper-plated utensils, as they may leave surface marks. These marks are simply metal residue, not ceramic damage, and are not covered by returns or warranty.

They can be removed using Bar Keepers Friend or fine 1000-grit wet sandpaper.
