For a dessert, a small cheese course, a piece of bread at the table. The Cake Plate is the smallest form in the Nami collection, carrying the same clean proportions as the larger pieces in a compact format.

The rim is consistent in height and the interior is flat, so it works well as both a serving plate and a place setting piece. Glazed in the Nami color range. Stoneware. Dishwasher and microwave safe.

Care Instructions

microwave and dishwasher-safe

Although fired at 2192 °F (1200 °C) for durability, our ceramics still require proper care. Handle with care, avoid exposure to open flame or stovetops, and remember they are microwave and dishwasher-safe.

For oven use, always start from room temperature, preheat gradually, and never exceed 335 °F (170 °C). Allow pieces to cool slowly, as larger items are more sensitive to sudden temperature changes.
CUTLERY

We recommend 18/10 stainless steel cutlery. Avoid silver, gold, or copper-plated utensils, as they may leave surface marks. These marks are simply metal residue, not ceramic damage, and are not covered by returns or warranty.

They can be removed using Bar Keepers Friend or fine 1000-grit wet sandpaper.

Our tableware is handmade, which means natural variations in color, texture, and finish are expected. These differences (whether between individual pieces or within a single item) are not defects but part of each piece’s unique character and value.
