A slab, essentially: 5.5" wide by 11.25" long, 1.25" tall, with corners softened just enough to read hand-made rather than machined. The surface runs flat edge to edge — no inner well, no lip to work around — so a loaf sliced in half, three wedges of cheese, or a pour of olive oil and a row of tomatoes all sit as composed as you place them.

Offered in semi-matte Olive, Sand, Black, and Capuchino — the HUMO glaze catching light more at the rounded edge than across the open face. Stoneware, the occasional speckle and a slight wave in the long edge are the record of the hand. Dishwasher, microwave, and food safe.

Care Instructions

Although fired at 2192 °F (1200 °C) for durability, our ceramics still require proper care. Handle with care, avoid exposure to open flame or stovetops, and remember they are microwave and dishwasher-safe.

For oven use, always start from room temperature, preheat gradually, and never exceed 335 °F (170 °C). Allow pieces to cool slowly, as larger items are more sensitive to sudden temperature changes.
CUTLERY

We recommend 18/10 stainless steel cutlery. Avoid silver, gold, or copper-plated utensils, as they may leave surface marks. These marks are simply metal residue, not ceramic damage, and are not covered by returns or warranty.

They can be removed using Bar Keepers Friend or fine 1000-grit wet sandpaper.
