For a mezcal, an amaro, a small pour of something that deserves its own vessel. The Oax Shot is the smallest piece in the Oax series: low, thick-walled, wide enough at the rim to smell the drink before it arrives.

It functions as a shot glass but feels like something more considered. Unglazed exterior, glazed interior. Each piece varies in height and rim width. Stoneware. Hand wash recommended.

Care Instructions

microwave and dishwasher-safe

Although fired at 2192 °F (1200 °C) for durability, our ceramics still require proper care. Handle with care, avoid exposure to open flame or stovetops, and remember they are microwave and dishwasher-safe.

For oven use, always start from room temperature, preheat gradually, and never exceed 335 °F (170 °C). Allow pieces to cool slowly, as larger items are more sensitive to sudden temperature changes.
CUTLERY

We recommend 18/10 stainless steel cutlery. Avoid silver, gold, or copper-plated utensils, as they may leave surface marks. These marks are simply metal residue, not ceramic damage, and are not covered by returns or warranty.

They can be removed using Bar Keepers Friend or fine 1000-grit wet sandpaper.

Our tableware is handmade, which means natural variations in color, texture, and finish are expected. These differences (whether between individual pieces or within a single item) are not defects but part of each piece’s unique character and value.
